Naturally black wool
The genetic trait for black fleece was bred out of many commercial sheep as producers selected for white wool, which can be dyed a wider range of colours. We value this naturally dark fleece and are gradually growing the black part of our flock so that more of the wool can reach spinners and makers.
Quantities will remain seasonal and limited. Learn more about our black sheep and their breeding.
